Hastings 45
Bradford 711, a vehicle once owned by NTA, has now had it's electrical equipment and parts acquired, with a view to making Hastings 45 a running exhibit. If any member would like details of working parties to help with component removal, please get in touch by email.

By 1993 the Hastings Trolleybus Restoration Group had considerably rebuilt 45's body. Still in place is the diesel engine fitted by the Corporation, as an attempt to make 45 an attraction in a similar way to 3A "Happy Harold" the preserved double deck sister vehicle.

Hastings 45, a 1929 Guy single decker with a Ransomes body, is about to have more work done to her, following earlier work to rebuild the body by the Hastings Trolleybus Restoration Group.

After residing in Hastings for many years Hastings 45 has now been moved to a more accessible site so work can proceed. Although the body is in excellent shape, much has to be done to reinstate the electrical mechanicals, including removing previous attempts to make her diesel powered.
